Featured Audio

A celebration will take place this weekend in Cleveland but not the one originally anticipated by those in the LGBT community.  After the sudden cancellation of the planned Pride festival, groups banded together to come up with a new celebration under a new title: Pride in the CLE.  We'll talk to organizers of both events.  Then, we'll spend some time with an author and activist using tactics familiar to the Civil Rights movement to protest  in the occupied territory of the West Bank.

Guests:

Joe Scalzo, Reporter, The Canton Repository
Kerry McCormack, Cleveland City Council, Ward 3
Phyllis Seven Harris, Executive Director, LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland
Todd Saporito, Board President, CEO, Cleveland Pride
Iyad Burnat, Activist, Author
Karen Kasler, Ohio Statehouse News Bureau Chief
