It's 48 years today since the Cuyahoga River caught fire.  The image of thick, plumes of black smoke roiling off the surface of the water made Cleveland a target of jokes across the decades.  Just last year, TBS thought it make fun of the river fire during the NBA Finals coverage--it didn't quite go as planned for the network who was roasted on social media. We're beyond all that nonsense here.  How far? Well, instead of cracking jokes, Jim Ridge, founder of Share the River, says we ought to celebrate its comeback.
