In addition, we talked with Scott Streator, vice president of Enterprise Strategy at CareSource, the Ohio nonprofit insurer featured in the ProPublica story. Streator talked about some of those plan changes earlier this year on WCPN's Sound of Ideas. And in response to this story, he says the changes in the plan design were in response to research they did with consumers and to encourage their member to use preventive care whenever possible.
