JobsOhio leader Mark Kvamme is stepping down.
Kvamme was appointed to head the agency last year after Governor Kasich and lawmakers created it. But since then, Kvamme has gotten married.
He now wants to start a business with his new wife. So Kvamme, a former California based venture capitalist, will resign at the next JobsOhio board meeting on November first. Someone who’s already working with the agency, will step up to take over Kvamme’s role at that time. John Minor, an investment banker who’s worked with JobsOhio since day one, will become the new President and Chief Investment officer.
