Tonight’s Guest: Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Cleveland
The Congressman is bowing out of the U.S. House of Representatives after serving eight consecutive terms. Kucinich was among the losers in the Republican-driven redistricting that followed the 2010 census when Ohio lost two seats. Thus, perhaps, ends a long and colorful political career that spanned parts of six decades.

He was elected to Cleveland City Council in 1969, became the youngest Cleveland mayor in 1977, served part of an Ohio Senate term and moved to Congress in the mid-90s. Known as one of the most liberal members of Congress, he’s headed up the Congressional Progressive Congress and twice he ran unsuccessfully for President.

Through it all, he never forgot his hardscrabble Cleveland roots and voters in his district were just as loyal to him.
