In 2008, five survivors of the Holocaust shared stories of their experiences during the darkest days of the 20 th century. The impact is just as powerful as when the program was originally released. As the producer of the program observed, “No matter how much you read in history books or other written accounts, there is nothing that compares to a first-hand telling.” Presented in observance of Yom HaShoah, which begins at sundown April 28.
