WELL BESIDES STUFFING YOUR FACE ON THANKSGIVING, PLENTY OF PEOPLE IN AMERICA LIKE TO FLIP ON THE TV TO SEE THE MACY’S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE. THE PARADE BEGAN IN 1924 AND OVER 250,000 PEOPLE FLOCKED TO THE PARADE ROUTE IN NEW YORK CITY TO WATCH THAT FIRST CELEBRATION.
IN 1927, THE GIANT BALLOONS THAT THE PARADE IS KNOWN FOR WERE ADDED. THIS YEAR’S HUGE BALLOONS ARE ALREADY BEING PREPPED TO GO. REENA ROY HAS MORE.
