With only four months to go before the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, officials say half of the tickets - remain unsold. Brazil's sports minister says they're looking for ways to boost sales. The government may even purchase tickets to distribute to public schools.
Brazil is currently in the midst of a political upheaval and massive protests, with lawmakers considering a request to impeach the country's president. Some question whether construction of the Olympic facilities will be finished in time for the games in addition to the concern that Brazil won't be able to attract tourists over fears about high crime rates.
Brazil plans to use twice as many security agents as were used during the games in London in 2012.
Athletes and health experts have also raised concerns about the mosquito-borne Zika virus and have lobbied for the games to be postponed. But Brazilian officials have opposed the idea.
