To mars now, where we're now getting our most detailed look yet of the surface of the planet.
NASA unveiled a "gravity map" that experts say allows viewers to not only to see what's on the red planet's surface, but also what lies beneath. The map was partially created by tracking the gravitational pull on spacecraft orbiting mars. Experts say it's similar to an x-ray telling a doctor what’s happening inside a patient.
White and red areas on the map are areas of higher gravity, while blue indicates lower gravity.
Analysts say the map will provide insight on the planet for future space missions, as well as help scientists understand how mars has developed over time.
