Abraham Lincoln is on the penny... George Washington is on both the quarter and the $1 bill... But raise your hand if you can name the man featured on the $10 bill?
Anyone? It’s Alexander Hamilton. He was not a president, but he was a founding father of the United States and the first Secretary of the Treasury. And now, Hamilton’s place on the $10 bill may no longer be in jeopardy, thanks in part to the popularity of the "Hamilton" Broadway musical.
Broadway refers to performances and musicals in the 40 professional theatres in an area of New York City known as the theatre district, east and west of Broadway Avenue.
But what does all of this mean for the future of the $10 bill? Let's find out.
