If working with numbers isn't your thing -- worry not. You don't have to be a mathematician or a spy to work at the Central Intelligence Agency. This CIA currently has a job opening for a librarian. Librarians have opportunities to serve as "embedded, or forward deployed, information experts." Translation: there may be some James Bond-like opportunities, if you want them.
You must have a master's degree, some prior library experience and the ability to pass an intensive background check, including a psychological exam and a lie detector test.
The federal government employs over 1,400 librarians.
