Election 2016: March Update

Now, it's time to turn our attention to the always-exciting presidential race -- and the two major parties, the Republicans and Democrats are still on the hunt for their candidates. When we left off last week, it was Super Tuesday – and by that time over 20 states and territories had cast their primary ballots. Since then, 10 more states and territories have been added to the mix.

Of those states, businessman Donald Trump claimed victory in five additional contests for the Republicans, while Senator Ted Cruz has taken three. Senator Marco Rubio finished first just once, and Ohio Governor John Kasich has won some delegate support but never had the most votes.

For the Democrats, Senator Bernie Sanders won four of six states, but former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton still increased her delegate lead.
