Amy's Kitchen, Blue Bell Recall Products Over Listeria Fears

A listeria outbreak prompts companies to recall certain treats and snacks.

In case you didn't know, listeria is a bacterium that causes food poisoning. Certain Blue Bell and Amy’s Kitchen products have been recalled over potential contamination with listeria.

Amy’s Kitchen says 74,000 cases of its frozen foods that include spinach may be contaminated. The company says one of its suppliers may have received organic spinach infected with listeria, but so far no illnesses have been reported.

You can find a full list of the recalled products on the FDA’s website.
