Chef Unveils Massive Gingerbread Castle

Chef David Diffendorfer unveiled his 19th gingerbread masterpiece titled "Castle Dubendorf" in Portland, Oregon last week.

The "castle" was made from 150 pounds of gingerbread, 15 pounds of chocolate, 35 pounds of marzipan, and several buckets of icing.

Chef Diffendorfer collected and studied pictures of European castles before the crafting began on this three month long project.

And can you guess what he used to make the "stained glass" windows you see here? Melted jolly ranchers. Now that is creative.
