University of Akron Students Get International Exposure Without Leaving Campus

The University of Akron has found a way to get students educational experience abroad—without actually leaving campus. The university is using technology to connect continents, enhance learning and simultaneously make the world both smaller and bigger in a political science class called ‘The Global Classroom.’ ideastream’s Gabriel Kramer checked out the class, new this semester and already giving added meaning to the term “distance learning.”
