Big news last Friday that could boost our entire region's economy - and especially a long-struggling corner of southeast Cuyahoga County. The retail giant Amazon announced that it will build a $177 million fulfillment center on the former site of Randall Park Mall, the once-glittering shopping center that's been shuttered for eight years. Even more important, when the fulfillment center is up and running, possibly by as soon as late 2018, it will employ more than 2000 people. We speak with two officials from the Greater Cleveland Partnership who helped put together the deal.
