Creative Voices; Graham Nash; Cleveland Culinary Kitchen

Researchers have long touted the connection between the music and the brain and how favorite songs can trigger memory for individuals suffering from dementia, Alzheimer’s and other diseases that damage the brain. Recently a discussion about the music brain connection took place at the Westfield Insurance Studio Theater called Creative Voices that was hosted by musician and physician Dr. Lawrence Sherman.

On this episode, Dee continues her conversation with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum inductee, Graham Nash of the band Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Graham was in town performing in concert with the Contemporary Youth Orchestra. During that conversation, they spoke about his time working with CSN, his music and the socially conscious message in his songs.
