Northeast Ohio is home to many great chefs. But if you think that all they care about is what goes on in the kitchen, well, you better think again! Chefs and restaurant owners go to great pains to create the right mood and ambiance for their space. On this episode of Beyond the Dish, ideastream’s Lauren Wilson introduces us to Chef Eric Williams, the Owner of Momocho Mexican Food who used everything from coffee, tea and low-rider bikes to get the exact look that he wanted for his restaurant.
Nominations for the 2015 Cleveland Arts Prize are open and you can have a say about its next round of winners. Submissions close February 28th. Until then, we’re sharing stories from past Arts Prize winners who've enriched our lives. On this round of Applause we have the story of the 1991 Winner for Visual arts Judith Salomon, a ceramist.
