Millennials Outnumber Baby Boomers

Thanks, Stephanie... she's one of my favorite millennials. Wait, what's a millennial you ask?  Millennials are a sector of the population that include people born from about 1980...until the year 2000.

And according to a U.S. Census Bureau Population report, that generation is now the largest in the United States. The Census Bureau estimates there are 75.4 million millennials, or people between the ages of 18 and 34.

This is how we study and classify people --often with common characteristics associated to them. There are now more millennials than baby boomers, or people who range in age from 51 to 69. In between, you'll find Generation X, or people between 35-50.

Most of you were probably born after 2000 -- and it's still being determined what your generation will be called. Some refer to this as Generation Z.

People born in this generation are probably more comfortable with technology and are more likely to share different types of information with each other through social media.
