Overdose deaths have increased almost twelve hundred percent since 2007.

The opioid epidemic affects everyone, the young and old, rich and poor, in the city, and in every suburb; yet there "Is" one thing overdose victims in Cuyahoga County have in common:

They all end up in the medical examiner's office. Here, in a nondescript building in University Circle, the staff struggles to keep up with this public health crisis and through their work ... To speak for the dead.
