Power, Authenticity and Engagement: Lessons in Leadership

Carla Harris is Vice Chairman of Global Wealth Management, Managing Director and Senior Client Advisor at Morgan Stanley. She is responsible for increasing client connectivity and penetration to enhance revenue generation across the firm. Ms. Harris has been on Wall Street for 27 years and knows a few things about being successful. She’s been named to Fortune’s “Most Influential List” and listed among American Banker's “Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Finance.” In August 2013, President Obama appointed Ms. Harris as the chairperson of the National Women’s Business Council.

During the early part of her career, Ms. Harris didn't find the specific advice she was looking for from mentors and superiors. Once she reached senior management, she vowed to share her successes and provide concrete information on how individuals can fulfill their career potential. Ms. Harris has since authored two books, Strategize to Win and Expect to Win. Join us for a discussion with Carla Harris as she shares her lessons on power, authenticity and engagement in leadership.
