Petting Zoo: Rare Albino Squirrel Spotted

City workers in Jonesboro, Arkansas were shocked when they saw a rare albino squirrel hanging out at a cemetery. These unique creatures have partial or complete loss of pigmentation, meaning they have a pale skin tone compared to other members of their species.

Scientists estimate that one in every a hundred ⁣thousand squirrels born are albino making for just over 20⁣ of them in the United States!
