The results from a biopsy done on a skin lesion removed from President Biden's chest last month confirmed that the growth was basal cell carcinoma – a type of skin cancer that does not tend to spread.

President Biden is delivering his State of the Union address on Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET. The speech is expected to highlight the strength of the economy and past legislative wins.

On Tuesday, Biden will deliver his State of the Union speech to a divided Congress — and a big audience at home. It's seen as an unofficial kick-off to his expected re-election campaign.

No documents with classified markings were found, though Biden's lawyer said "some materials and handwritten notes that appear to relate to his time as vice president" were taken for further review.

President Biden's personal lawyers had already searched his Wilmington home for classified documents. The FBI did another search and found still more, some dating back to Biden's time in the Senate.

The fast-moving revelations have placed the president under the investigation of a special counsel and ignited Republican criticism. The White House said on Saturday that more documents were found.

Hur spent much of his legal career serving in multiple positions in the Department of Justice. He is also the former U.S. attorney in Maryland, appointed by then-President Donald Trump.

Robert Hur is authorized to probe "possible unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents or other records."
