Xiaozhen Mou, Ph.D., associate professor of biological sciences at Kent State University, is taking waste water collected from local treatment plants and determining the amount of COVID-19 in it. Her lab at Kent is part of a network that is helping to determine more accurately the spread of the virus, and therefore help us prepare to meet it.
