Ohio is working with five neighboring states and the federal Environmental Protection Agency to study bacteria levels in the Ohio River. Officials say - if the levels are too high, it might be unsafe for people to swim, boat, or fish in the river. The other states working with Ohio to study bacteria levels in the Ohio River are West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois.
