A new exhibit opened this week at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History that challenges people to rethink long held beliefs about race. Using scientific evidence it looks to show that, while people may look different on the outside, we're all extremely similar inside.
Longtime activist and children's advocate Marian Wright Edelman came to Cleveland to hold a townhall style meeting in connection with the exhibit. Edelman is the founder of the Childrens Defense Fund and was the first African American woman to practice law in the state of Mississippi. She spoke with ideastream®'s Eric Wellman.
