A patient shows up at the doctor complaining about swelling and tenderness on a portion of his skin. He claims it was a spider bite, although he never saw the insect. This is how staph infections often present. And doctors in Northeast Ohio - across the country in fact - have been seeing a larger number over the last ten years.
