  1. Toby Keith, the Florida Chihuahua that has been confirmed by Guinness World Records as the world oldest living dog, having reached 21 years and 66 days as of March 16;
  2. Mac-N-Cheese, the dog that Jamie Lee Curtis  brought on stage during the Academy Awards for a tribute to the late actress Betty white, who spent decades helping animals. Mac-N-Cheese was adopted by actor John Travolta and his young son, Ben;
  3. Local authorities in Maryland determined that 49-year-old David Riston, who cohabited with 124 snakes, died of snake bite. Among his snakes were rattlesnakes, cobras, a 14-foot Burmese python, and black mambas;
  4. Evsei, a spaniel, is providing needed comfort as a therapy dog for traumatized children at the “Dr. Doc” therapy center in the Ukranian city of Zaporizhzhia;
  5. Jinx the California cat that has hundreds of thousands of followers on Instagram and TikTok. Jinx’s owner paid $100 for the feline to become the Mayor of Hell, Michigan, for a day on April 24th.
