Let’s file this feature in honor of Women’s History Month under “Remarkable Women Who Step Up”. Sheryl Modlin is a Cleveland Clinic anesthesiologist by trade, and a carillonneur by avocation. When WCLV's Bill O'Connell talked to her recently, she told him she didn't come to the carillon as much as the carillon came to her! She generally performs Sundays after services at Church of the Saviour in Cleveland Heights. Her next recital at Church of the Covenant in University Circle is Friday March 26 at 12:15pm. For information on the carillon at Church of the Covenant, go to ucbells.org.
On-demand interviews with local and national classical music artists.
