There’s a surplus of rankings within the world of higher education: there are lists from Bloomberg, Forbes, and even the federal government will soon get in the game.Today, one of the most recognized names in the ratings game--U.S. News & World Report--released their own breakdown of the country’s graduate programs, with several of Ohio’s campuses making the list. The majority of the top spotlight went to two schools: Cleveland's Case Western Reserve University and Ohio State University in Columbus.CWRU has the state's highest rated program (24th nationwide), while Ohio State’s College of Medicine came in seven spots below. OSU landed the state’s top law (34th nationwide), business (30th), and education (15th) programs. At number 17, CWRU’s nursing program ranks as tops in Ohio. The ratings analyze more than 30 programs from schools across the country. The methodology varies, but some listings retrieved their data from surveying schools, while others incorporated students’ job placement rates.
