Ben Suarez Trial Nears End of its Third Week

The trial of Canton businessman Ben Suarez is into its third week. It centers around campaign contributions he allegedly orchestrated through his employees. Suarez could get up to 12 years in prison if convicted. The federal case has drawn considerable interest because it raises questions about the influence the donations garnered for Suarez from U.S. Rep. Jim Renacci and Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel.
