Beethoven Ninth to be performed by Community Organizations
On Friday, March 28, at 8:00 PM, CIM Live originates from Severance Hall with a performance of the Beethoven Symphony No. 9 conducted by CIM President Joel Smirnoff. The concert brings together a number of area institutions including instrumentalists and chorus members from the Cleveland School of the Arts, the Antioch Baptist Church Choirs, and the Singers’ Club of Cleveland.

Soloists are Catheryne Shumann, soprano; Samantha Gossard, mezzo; Vinson Cole, tenor; and Brian Johnson, baritone.

WCLV presents eleven CIM Live broadcasts each season, originating at Kulas Hall, Mixon Hall or Severance Hall. The broadcasts are a class project for course taught by WCLV’s Robert Conrad. The students, among other tasks, write the scripts for the CIM Live airings.
