A federal jury in Akron has found former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora guilty in 33 out of the 34 federal racketeering charges of running a criminal ring out of the county office. His co-defendant and former driver, Michael Gabor, was found guilty of 7 out of 8 counts.
The jury presented their verdict today after over 40 hours of deliberation. U.S. federal judge Sara Lioi revoked Dimora’s bond and placed him in a federal facility close to Akron.
