Dealing with Abandoned Properties' Surprises

In an interview with Ohio Public Radio's Jo Ingles, Linda Oros of the Ohio E.P.A. explains the agency is now working with private insurance companies to help minimize risks for people who could lose money on cleanup projects.

Linda Oros of the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency says there are three private companies under contract with the E.P.A. to provide this insurance. Oros hopes this new program will help encourage efforts to clean up brownfields throughout the state.
