Cleveland bio-pharmaceutical firm Abeona targets rare diseases

There are roughly seven thousand rare diseases in the world.
And almost none of them have a cure, or an approved treatment.

So when someone receives such a diagnosis, it can feel like a death sentence.

But now, by developing innovative new therapies, a bio pharmaceutical company here in Cleveland is giving some patients, new hope.

And many of the families who have loved ones suffering from rare diseases help make that research possible by raising money.
