Amazon Passes on Cleveland for HQ2 Bid

Amazon today named the top 20 cities still in the running for its second headquarters and Cleveland did not make the cut.

The online retailer claimed to have received 238 proposals from municipalities looking to secure that $5 billion investment, which could generate up to 50,000 jobs.

But Ohio still has a chance; as Columbus was among the top 20 cities.

Other possible cities in the Midwest are Chicago, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh.

Some other cities still in the running : Los Angeles, Atlanta, Boston, Washington DC, Miami, Denver, New York city and Nashville.
