ideastream is proud to present the broadcast premiere of local playwright David Hansen’s critically-acclaimed play I Hate This. A confessional drama about the loss of Hansen’s unborn child, this play was honored with the Overall Excellence Award at the New York International Fringe Festival. That Manhattan performance received praise from the New York Times as “carrying on the grand tradition of Spalding Gray.” For this special radio broadcast Hansen has dramatized his one-man show with a full cast featuring some of Northeast Ohio’s finest actors, including Dorothy and Reuben Silver, Nina Domingue, Scott Plate, and Betsy Hogg.
