Last week we learn about the authors and designers at American Greetings. Now we asked you to write a valentine to snow!
"When I wake up and you are there, my warmth comes out into the air. I sprint to get my gloves and coat to find my way to get to you, Snow. When I get out, you find my heart; we play and play a snowball fight. But when I get inside, I still see you and when I get my hot chocolate your wind sounds me to sleep, so please do not go you are my Valentine."
- Nina Cuva from Tallmadge Middle School in Tallmadge
"You make my winters fun. You cover the ground with such delicacy. You make me able to ski and have fun when winter comes around. You are always on the ground for Christmas and my birthday. You make my birthday better by being there. Therefore, I like going skiing with my family and playing with you when I am on winter break. So in shorter words or terms, I love you."
- Cain from Claggett Middle School in Medina
"You are the fluffy part of my life. I am a snowy person and, I love to play in the snow a lot."
- Jonah Nichols from Rushwood Elementary School in Summit County
"I am happy when you come to the Earth. I can play with you and have fun. I can also go sledding with you. However, when you are on the trees, you are beautiful. That is why I love you snow."
- Sagar from Bath Elementary School in Akron
"Snow, snow white as cotton, solid as stone, builds as brick, and beautiful as a rose. You make my day like an amusement park. Will you be my valentine?"
- Caydence from Meadowview Elementary School in Milford
