Your Answers: Invent an executive order for your school!

Last week we learned about President Biden's executive orders. Then we asked you to  invent an executive order for your school! Be sure to tell us why you think it is important.

"An executive order for my school should be that you get to pick out or vote for what you have at lunch. Why I say this is because some kids may be allergic or dislike some of the food served."

- Landon from Barberton Middle School in Barberton

"My executive order for my school is that you can pick if you want to have indoor or outdoor recess. Some people don't like indoor recess, and some don't like outdoor recess."

- Joey from St. Angela Merici in Fairview Park

"If I could make an executive order for my school, it would be national kindness day because there are bullying problems, and I think if you spread kindness around, people will be a lot nicer, and there would be fewer bullying issues."

- Helena from Huntington Elementary School in Brunswick

"My executive order would be to have a dance party every Friday for all the kids who need a break after learning all day. Every Friday, someone different would pick a song. After the dance party, we would go back to work. That would be my executive order."

- Clara from Kensington Intermediate School in Rocky River

"If I had to invent an executive order for my school, I would create a foundation for sick people. It would help for this year since of the pandemic and other sicknesses like cancer."

- Jenny from Troy Intermediate School in Avon Lake

"My executive order would be for our school not to have mandatory school uniforms. They could still have the uniforms, but you don't have to wear them. There should be restrictions, so you don't wear anything that's not school appropriate. I know why we have dress codes.  However, I think that we should not have them."

-Grady from Corpus Christi Academy in Lyndhurst
