Turning now to the skies over southern Chile, where one of South America's most active volcanoes, known as the Villarica volcano, erupted early Tuesday morning, spewing ash and lava.
Amazing pictures show you the view.
The eruption continued for a few hours before calming down at the break of dawn, but forced the evacuation of 3,000 people. The 9,000 foot volcano is in Chile's Central Valley, about 400 miles from the country's capital city of Santiago.
It's a popular destination for hikers, who climb the peak every summer, to peer inside the crater.
