Sunday evening, the Cleveland Orchestra, in partnership with ideastream, presented a special community concert, honoring Martin Luther King Jr. Music Director Franz Welser-Most led the Cleveland Orchestra in a program celebrating Dr. King's life and legacy.
Ideastream aired the concert live on 90.3 WCPN and on WVLV 1049 and recorded the concert which will be broadcast here on WVIZ/PBS, Friday, January 26th at 9 pm. We leave you tonight with an excerpt of "Down by the riverside", sung by bass baritone Ryan Speedo Green.
