Screenwriter and director PAUL SCHRADER. He wrote the screenplay for Taxi Driver, which is being redistributed for its 20th anniversary, and has been restored in 35 mm with Dolby stereo. Schrader also wrote the screenplays for Scorcese's Raging Bull and The Last Temptation of Christ, and directed The Comfort of Strangers and Light Sleeper.
