FBI Special Agent Laurie Fournier's Name Added to Wall of Honor

FBI Special Agent Laurie Fournier will be honored in Cleveland and Washington D.C. for her service and sacrifice.

Laurie died of an aggressive form of melanoma the day after Christmas in 2009. She left behind her husband, Mike, and two sons, Harrison and Drew.

Her name will be added the Wall of Honor at the FBI's Cleveland office and on the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Wall in D.C.

Special Agent Fournier spent 19 years with the FBI investigating healthcare fraud and later became a training coordinator and on the Evidence Response Team. She responded to  Shanksville, Pennsylvania shortly after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. FBI officials say there is a link between Laurie's cancer and her work in Shanksville.

Her husband talked with ideastream's Darrielle Snipes about his wife and the honor she will receive and about what would have been their 19th wedding anniversary.
