Late Saturday evening Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Timothy McGinty's office released a new perspective on previously released camera footage of the shooting of Tamir Rice last November.
The Prosecutor's office released a PDFthat can be advanced through 326 frames synchronizing from 2 camera angles showing footage from the Cudell Recreation Center where Rice was shot. The document also shows an enhanced video perspective, blowing up the small, grainy, original image.
The video enhancement was conducted by Grant Fredericks of Forensic Video Solutions, based in Spokane, Washington.
A statement from McGinty's office says this analysis will be presented along with other evidence to a grand jury currently attached to the case.
The latest evidence release comes just a week after the one year anniversary of the shooting and death of 12 year old Tamir Rice.
Rice's parents, attorney's, and other activists presented a petition to have Prosecutor McGinty step down from the case and have a special prosecutor replace him.
Attorneys for the Rice family also released reportsfrom their use of force experts Saturday, that called Tamir's shooting "objectively unreasonable". That analysis follows expert reports released by the County Prosecutor's office that called Rice's shooting "reasonable", in October.
