Pierre Van Der Westhuizen, President and CEO of CIPC, sat down with Mark Satola to talk about the August 23 concert.
The four medalists from the 2013 Competition and Cleveland’s hugely popular Apollo’s Fire Baroque orchestra will collaborate for an extraordinary night of music. Stanislav Khristenko, Arseny Tarasevich-Nikolaev, François Dumont, and Jiayan Sun will unite to play solo, duo, and 4-hand works, as well as Baroque concerti. Jeannette Sorrell will conduct.
A special gala dinner with the medalists will be held immediately following the concert in the Cleveland Museum of Art’s sensational Ames Family Atrium. Details will be available for this event at a later date.
Tickets are $25 and $35 and may be purchased beginning January 6, 2014 through this website or by calling 216-707-5397. $5 student tickets and subscriptions also will be available. Subscribers receive preferred seating and save up to 20% over the price of individual tickets.
