Chagrin Valley Little Theatre: "A Chorus Line" - actors Steven R. Tiderman and Abby Zerull

Chagrin Valley Little Theatre presents A Chorus Line, with music by Marvin Hamlisch and lyrics by Edward Kleban, based on a book by James Kirkwood. Centered on seventeen Broadway dancers auditioning for spots on a chorus line, the musical is set on the bare stage of a Broadway theatre during an audition for a musical. A Chorus Line provides a glimpse into the personalities of the performers and the choreographer as they describe the events that have shaped their lives and their decisions to become dancers. A Chorus Line broke Broadway records for decades and spawned several musical theater standards including "One" and "What I Did For Love."

Steven R. Tiderman is excited to be returning to A Chorus Line for the 3rd time, previously playing 'Mark' at Kent State and 'Paul' at Fine Arts in Willoughby, in which the latter he was also on the line with director and long time friend, Pam LaForce. Steve was last seen on CVLT stage in this year's NYE Review Bending Broadway. Steve has also been seen on the CVLT stage as 'Corny Collins' in Hairspray, 'Danny Zuko' in Grease, 'Smudge' in Forever Plaid, and as his favorite role to date 'Dr. Frank-N-Furter' in The Rocky Horror Show. Steve will be seen next in 2014's MBTF benefit in September.

Abby Zerull Is thrilled to be reappearing on the CVLT stage, which she hasn't stepped foot on since 2008. Although it's been awhile since she has performed in Chagrin, Abby has kept busy with several other local theatres, starring most recently as 'The Evil Stepmother' in Cinderella and 'Dorothy' in The Wizard of Oz. She is thankful to all the wonderful people who have invested endless hours into making this show a reality, and hopes that the audience will love and enjoy this production just as much as she does.
