22 Year Old Mentor Woman Hopes To Be Youngest To Row Solo Across Atlantic

On Friday, 22 year old Katie Spotz of Mentor will leave for South Africa. When she returns to this side of the Atlantic she'll be traveling by boat rather than airplane. Spotz hopes to become the youngest person to row solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She's partnered with the Blue Planet Run Foundation to raise awareness and money for the cause of clean drinking water in developing parts of the world. Spotz sat down with ideastream®'s Eric Wellman to talk about her upcoming adventure.
