PORTMAN: It is concerning to me that we would take a step back. I like McCain’s approach better because he’s saying no – let’s unleash that innovation and inventiveness and let’s give people the ability to succeed.
Portman, who is rumored to be a potential running mate for McCain, said McCain’s proposal to lower taxes, foster more free trade, improve job training and increase energy resources is the better approach to move the country forward.
