The incumbent Kucinich seems to be feeling the heat from Cleveland Councilman Joe Cimperman who has launched an aggressive ad campaign with spots likethis one.
CIMPERMAN AD: That's congressman Dennis Kucinich. Taking his full salary but not doing his job. Missing more votes than almost any other congressman. Votes on predatory lending and veterans' healthcare. You are so fired!
Kucinich, who has rarely responded to opponents in past campaigns, says in his plea that he needs money to take on this year's competition.
KUCINICH: Already television commercials are flooding the Cleveland airwaves with a message that is designed to knock me out of office.
Cimperman is one of four democrats trying to unseat Kucinich in the March 4th primary.
