Cleveland Institute of Art poised to raise national profile

In the midst of the University Circle building boom, with expanding hospital buildings, new retail outlets, increased housing, and even a skyscraper… 

There is another push toward greater excellence that may be happening 'beneath' your radar.

The Cleveland Institute of Art opened the new, state-of-the-art "George Gund Building" building less than two years back – and is underway with another project increasing student housing.

But this week; students from all levels were unveiling their best work of the year – across all 15 of the school's majors…
Areas as diverse as game design, to visual arts, to animation. 

Rick Jackson sat down with CEO and School President Grafton Nunes  to hear about an evolution of CIA, that is far outstripping the addition of a dorm.
